Description: A broad spectrum for many applications Regardless if a standard or a customized coating: The amount of coating types we are able to offer - together with our development capabilities - grants solutions for the most different applications. It is shown in our customer base – from machine builders to chemical industry, cars, electronics and medical technology.
Our SAFECOAT-coatings – a coating system with fluorocarbons as PTFE, FEP and PFA, or our Nanofinish coatings – a plasma polymer coating system, offers a number of specific and functional solutions for surfaces of steel, aluminium, titanium, brass, ceramic, plastics, rubber and combined materials.
STARNBERGER thus helps to improve the customer’s products in terms of long life and efficiency.
Corrosion resistant coatings Nanofinish The coating is suitable for glossy, polished or surfaces with fine structures. The coating thicknesses are 200…1000 nm, is corrosion resistant with additional non-stick (hydrophobic) or easy-to-clean properties. Temperature resistance up to 350°C. The coating is infiltration safe. All metals as well as ceramics, plastics and rubber can be coated, and also combined materials like a metal with a vulcanised sealing of rubber. The coating is resistant against 25% sulphuric acid at 65°C for 40 hours as well as in a salt spray test for 1500 hours. The primary function as corrosion protection can be combined with other functions such as non-stick, easy-to-clean or an additional adhesion layer for painting or vulcanising.

NanoActivation with plasma To reach a good adhesion on plastic, ceramic or glass surfaces before processing with paint, glue, or print the surface is activated – a primer or a pre-treatment with a solvent is not needed.
The activation of the surface produces a good adhesion to
