Description:
Nanoclays are very fine particles, roughly 1/10,000th the diameter of a human hair, and make up approximately 40 percent of Nanoblend™ Concentrates by weight. Nanocomposites are made by combining polymers with nanoclays for use in a variety of processing technologies including injection molding, extrusion, and blown film. Nanocomposites improve a polymer’s physical properties and can reduce the amount of additive needed to achieve the desired benefits, thus reducing total weight compared with traditional materials. |
