According to a recent estimate by the WTO, the proportion of counterfeit goods traded world-wide is currently approx. 13% and growing steadily.
Counterfeited documents and consumer goods turn out to be a growing challenge for nation states, their bureaucracies, and industry.
On the basis of nanotechnology, Nanosolutions develops and produces security pigments that are used for ink-jet printing for product and trademark protection.
These pigments are colourless in daylight. However, they start to fluoresce under UV light and the printed matter is thereby rendered visible.
Our security inks can be applied by simply using an ink-jet printer. They are colour-fast and, in contrast to conventional methods of marking, cannot be imitated using microparticles.
In collaboration with commercial and academic research partners we offer a complete security system including suitable printers and readers. |
