Description:
Thin ceramic and nano composite layers (thickness 0.5 to 5 µm) for the modification of materials and product surfaces are obtainable at low cost by sol-gel processes. A liquid with low viscosity - the sol - is applied with conventional liquid coating technology (dip coating, spin coating, flow coating, roller coating, spray coating brush coating). A gel coating is formed that will be cured thermally or via UV light. |
